    the customer service was great, they were very helpful when we got lost and couldn't find the hotel :S

    they could make the breakfast times slightly later like upto 10.00am, for the ones who like to lay in on a sunday!

    breakfast was rushed,ready before cereal was finished.toilet/shower door did not close unless it was lifted.smells from the "floor" plug hole.very noisy floorboards 2nd floor.

    good location, resonably clean

    run down hotel, very poor food, very old lift - to sets if manual doors! (is that still legal to use?); very bad old and squicky floor (impossible to sleep!!); i had to take my cloths to the basement to iron them - not allowed in my room. TV - old & size of a shoe box; teh list is as long as my arm..

    As already stated, all good points

    The 2 bad point's are the ensuit arrangement is far too small, especially the shower area, not suitable for a grown up, shower head was of a fixed type, could not be adjusted. The second bad point, the bedroom was very small for a double bedroom.

    Very,very nice staff: helpful, friendly, pleasant, well mannered. Breakfast was reasonable with a good buffet and hot food to order.

    Hotel very shabby, was more or less clean but for example the handle of the hairdryer was dirty and sticky and the underneath of the basin in the bathroom was dirty.

    "If you are only using the hotel to get you head down it is fine, it is very close to kings cross station and under ground, if you want more than that from your hotel don't use it." (107297636)

    The breakfast room was bright and welcoming food very good. Day we left the receptionist was willing to keep luggage at hotel untill we left for our train which gave us best part of our last day to visit sights.

    Rooms are very small, clean adequate.

    The room is not tidy, there has fleas in the bed, the doss is not clean, the rooms have no sounds arrester, so loundy at night.

    It was opposite the place where I was working, the breakfast isn't bad.

    A 'Fawlty Towers' type experience! The radiator was stuck on high and couldn't be fixed; the shower sprayed water all over the floor; the phone in my room rang in the night with someone requesting a takeaway!!

    Very friendly staff.

    Although room was clean, the decor was appauling and was well overdue for redecoration. The plug socket for the tv wasn't wired correctly, causing an electric buzzing sound when plugging things in.

    Convenient for St Pancras and Euston which is useful for us

    Room was extremely hot and could only be reasonably cool with fan which couldn't be left on all night because of the noise. As we were leaving early for the Eurostar and couldn't take the inclusive breakfast we asked for a "take-out". They offered us some fruit, which was kind, but the quality meant we couldn't eat the fruit - it was of such a bad quality. Very small room. Unable to get cold water for drinking from the tap - water was either hot or tepid.

    Liked the fact there was free wifi, certainly an unexpected surprise. Location was perfect and a life saver at such short notice.

    Efficiency and friendliness of staff - very courteous... were willing to store my overnight bag during the day. The breakfast room was light and airy with a pleasant 'smily' waitress... and enough choice to eat!

    I rarely travel alone, so without a husband I booked a single room. It was small - but it is London and an old building. My concern was some grubby wallpaper which detracted from the pleasant feel overall.

    Staff very good, very helpful, polite and courteous. The breakfast was good, and well cooked and presented.

    The room, although allegedly a 'double', was tiny and barely suitable for one occupant. Although the weather was warm the central heating was on continuously, and the heat, particularly in the bathroom was almost unbearable. There was no fan/extractor in the bathroom. The net curtains in the room were badly torn and looked dirty.

    great breakfast and very pleasant breakfast room; cooperative and friendly staff, nice view, comfortable bed, great location (near the British Museum and across the street from the British Library, as well as very close to the tube

    extremely small room - fortunately we had stored our two large pieces of luggage, or we would never have had enough space, a bit claustrophobic, there was not enough space for two people to walk past the bed at the same time

    Staff very helpful- exhibition equipment had not arrived from carrier company to the hotel. staff tried to help me to sort the problem and kept me well updated with news

    Room was very small between bed and desk. Luckily I was on my own but it would have been far too small if with my partner.

    the room was very small, the double bed was pushed up to the wall so one person had to crawl over the other to get out, the decorations were in need of repair, the shower was so small you couldnt turn round in it.

    i am afraid to say that there really wasnt any except for the friendy but in-experienced maid!

    where do we start!!!! the room was disgusting, small and full of dust and the bathroom was full of mould and looked like it had not been cleaned for a year ( no joke ) oh and not forgetting the very rude member of staff that demanded money for our stay on our second day in front of other guests and told us that if we didnt like it there then we could leave NOW !!!!

    I was on the 3rd floor and it was unbearably hot. There was a fan but in a small room you do not always want the noise of a fan. If I stayed again I would not want a 3rd floor room The bathroom was not clean enough and the basin plughole was disgusting.

    It's within a few minutes' walk from Euston Station.

    The inside of the room was like a sauna. (I stayed there at the end of July.) I couldn't sleep even for an hour.

    Room was very very hot, fan seemed inadequate but to be fair it was a very hot evening anyway. I would probably pay extra next time to get a room with air con.
