    "My stay was a bit of a mixed bag. I liked the hotel, the location and the fantastic staff, but was disappointed by the aircon and wireless not working. I would certainly return at least once more, but if these issues still existed then I would not return if travelling on business." (107129098)

    Very friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant at breakfast when they were probably the best staff I have experienced for some time. If it is possible to feed this back to them I would be grateful. They deserve praise. I also like the amount of space and privacy afforded to me in the main reception / lounge area, as I had a short business meeting before checking out.

    The air-conditioning in the bedroom was completely inadequate.I understand this is a newly installed system which has had a number of complaints. Not very good when you cannot open windows for risk of aircraft noise. The internet wireless connection was down for the duration of my stay and reception staff could not offer any advice to when it would be back up. Very poor for a modern hotel.

    "After using this hotel ourselves a couple of months ago,and again a couple of weeks ago(booked through 'holiday extras')we made this booking for our son.We find the hotel good value for money,as this included car parking for the duration of the holiday.The hotel is only a few minutes by minibus from airport.Rooms are not over-big,but adequate for overnight stay, and well-equipped.Staff are courteous and helpful."     "The stay was just for one night as we were attending a wedding in the area. The room and the bed were a bit small but as we only slept there and had breakfast it satsified our needs. There was some nice surrounding villages which we didnt have time to look at so if we decide to go back to that area we would consider this hotel." (97927864)

    Small but clean room

    The hotel was a bit worn - public areas in particular could do with a paint job.

    "An adequate airport hotel, but overall condition of facilities was getting tired - need of a refurbishment. Terraces dinner was barely adequate, clearly re-heated pre-prepared main dish. Salad limp and tired with starter. Saw other diners send the fish & chips back and try something else. Breakfast rather poor, didn't start at declared 06.00 time, no staff there till 20 past when hot breakfast started to appear. Not good value for the price." (99154061)

    Easy to book, secure parking and regular shuttle bus to the airport.

    Just missed a bus on landing so took a taxi back as would have had to wait over 30 minutes for the bus to return.

    CHECK-IN and helpfulness of staff.

    Room was very 'tired' in decor. It was supposed to be a 3 star hotel, but was more of a budget hotel experience. Breakfast was uninspiring

    Smokers were located outside my bedroom at the enterence to the hotel. I sleep with the windows open therefore the room was filled with second hand smoke from the noisy smokers.

    clean modern room with comfortable furniture and quiet interior.....peaceful setting in a residential area, yet only 10 Minute drive to the airport.

    Non smoking hotel and yet there was a strong stale cigarette odour in the bathroom.

    "We have stayed at this hotel before & are always please with them. This time we were staying on return from our holidays after a late flight. However our flight was delayed 23hrs and on contacting the hotel they were very accomadating and transferred our booking (at their suggestion) to the following night, our car was in their car park aswell and none of this was any trouble to them and the changes were handled extremely well" (99089909)

    Bar & Restaurant has nice atmosphere. Duty Manager Tom, very efficient & professional.

    Bathroom has mold, very unappealing. Reception could be trained better to deal with accommodating special requests, as there is NO hard and fast rules when it comes to pleasing a guest!

    Very fiendly staff.

    Only one comfortable chair in the room for two people. Th room was very hot,even with the radiator switched off.

    I felt it was somewhat overpriced particularly when converted to euro and compared with similar hotels in Dublin

    "As stated above, there was no elevator for us and it was difficult to carry suitcases to the room. Other than that, the service was fine and the appearance of the room was wonderful. We were very happy with the accomodation. We put the 'do not disturb' sign on our door knob and it was nice to see that the housekeeping staff left us towels, and tea/coffee supplies in a plastic bag just outside our door. I was very pleased with that. One time we called room service and within minutes, they were there!! Very satisfied." (3304900503)

    I liked the size of the room and the comfort of the bar, pool and dining area.

    There was no elevator (lift) and it was difficult to carry suitcases up the flights of stairs.

    Room was spacious with settee, though could have been hoovered during our 3 night stay, bathroom shower v.good. Swimming pool and related facilities excellent though spa pool too hot on first visit and not in use later. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast reasonable though currently normal dining room being rennovated.

    Bar was small, smoky - but suspect it may have been temporary.

    "I understand from the duty manager that 2 staff had to go home sick on the evening of our stay. We ordered food and had to wait 40 minutes for it to arrive - and that was after asking staff to find out if it was on its way. (The lady on the table next to us had the same experience). The chicken dish and the fish dish were only luke warm and had not been checked by catering staff that it had stayed at the correct temperature. Our table was not cleared between courses, nor were any of the tables round us. There was no bowls available for pudding, so we had to use our side plates. We did complain to the duty manager who agreed with our complaints and only charged us half price for the meal. Our wake up call was 25 minutes late, so we were rushed in the morning. Our newspaper did not arrive, as it hadn't been ordered by the staff." (3304992571)

    The room was too small for a couple.When I asked at the bar, I was told crisps were only available from the vending machine. I asked for change and was not given the correct change.     "It was a treat for my husbands birthday, and all in all we had a lovely weekend. Pleasant and helpful staff are the best asset of this hotel, in my opinion. We thought the price we paid for bed and breakfast accomodation was very good, but would have liked to have known how expensive it is to have evening meal and enjoy drinks at the bar. I wouldn't like to sleep many nights in the very uncomfortable bed, but the rest of the room was lovely and the shower was brilliant." (3304487009)

    Lovely room, brilliant shower, pleasant and attentive staff. Enoyed the leisure facilities. Breakfast was very good. Again the staff were lovely.

    Bed was extremely uncomfortable! We were too warm in the night, although air conditioning was being fitted at the time. Evening meal prices were a little expensive for the quality of the food provided. Also bar prices were very expensive. Not the fault of the hotel staff, but we were unfortunate enough to be staying at the same time as numerous Chelsea football supporters, who had lost their game the day before. The language was not to my liking (and I am no prude!). My husband and I chose to move tables at breakfast to avoid the disgusting conversation that was audible to all around.

    Spacious accomadation, room had recently been refurbished, drinks pricy.

    Trays with plates and cups etc left at the end of corridors on the floor after room service no staff bothered to remove them for the whole day.

    "I booked this hotel because everywhere else was full of footie fans in Manchester. IT was a pleasant stay - the restaurant was probably the low point, but still passable, with pleasant service to make up for the holes in the new menu. Nice red wine. Room was quiet and clean and the bed was very comfortable, I slept well - which is rare for me in a hotel bed. Staff were all helpful and pleasant, check in / reception staff in particular."     Staff were warm and friendly (most of them anyways) Bed was comfortable and health club is a nice addition to a hotel

    The transformation to a Holiday Inn will be good when it is finished - but the old hotel shows though and it's a bit frayed round the edges in places. However, I'd go back.
