    A very friendly little place in an excellent location.

    The night we stayed the noise of emergency service sirens were constantly being heard untill around 04:00am. Then one of the local cafe owners decided to start sorting his bottles out, so sleep was very spasmodic indeed. But this is not the fault of the hotel owners.

    It was right in the middle of theatre land and very convenient for shops, sightseeing and public transport

    Great location, good breakfast

    No en-suite, no lift to fourth floor, room was damp and smelt of smoke, light over mirror kept going out, front desk is not manned after midnight (something we were not told about)

    Absolutely perfect location, helpful and very friendly staff. Safe.

    Not much pressure in the shower. No lift which was fine for us but might be inconvenient for some people.

    "WE ONLY USED THE HOTEL TO SLEEP IN. WE WERE OUT FROM 0930 IN THE MORNING UNTIL 0100 IN THE MORNING. A GREAT LOCATION TO REST YOUR HEAD. BASIC, SO WOULDN'T USE THE HOTEL FOR LEISURE PURPOSES BUT IT SUITED US. VERY CLEAN. NOT FOR FAINT HEARTED. WE WERE ON THE THIRD FLOOR WHICH COULD BE QUITE A CLIMB FOR SOMEONE UP THE NARROW STAIRCASE." (97884964)

    WE CAME TO HIT THE WEST END FOR 5 DAYS. FANTASTIC LOCATION. EVERYTHING WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE. GOOD RATES. THE FAN ABOVE THE BED WAS LOVELY.

    "Although we had a rather small room i would book the hotel again as the proprietor assured me this was the smallest and larger rooms are the norm. This was a minor problem and the rest or our stay was excellent. There was little disturbance from outside or even from the movements of other guests. We were served politely at all times and the service at breakfast was excellent.The positioning of the hotel was excellent for our needs. I would recommend this accomodation and would certainly book again." (97624148)

    The hotel was central, within walking distance of places we wanted to visit. The service from staff was excellent and the food and cleanliness of a very high standard. The value for money was also good. It was very quiet with little disturbance from outside noise.

    The only problem criticism is that te room was rather small and having the double bed pushed up to the wall necessitated one of us climbing over the other to get out in the middle of the night. A bit of a problem as we both suffer from arthritis and galloping middle age!!! This was inconvenient rather than devastating and didn't spoil our break. It may have had more of an impact if we had been staying longer.

    The rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff were helpful and available when needed.

    We were in a room sharing a toilet which ran out of paper and there was no spare in the room. Breakfast was served untill 9.30 but when we arived just after 9 there was very little left.

    Some towels were worn out and hard, and newer ones were not so absorbent.

    We had a lovely stay even though it was only one night. The staff were friendly and verynhelpful. and the breakfast was well cooked and good variety.We will certainly return many times and have passed on hotel details to friends.

    Easy check in process great location and excellent rate for the location of the hotel easy access to tube station excellent breakfast plenty available and lovely service. Someone on desk at all times so no curfew

    Stayed on fourth floor but no lift was available which i was informed of when i made the booking but was hard after a day walking round london!!! Was unable to close window but that was ok cause the weather was warm so did not mind that much didnt but was woken few times by smell of the drains but again think this was due to warm weather.Toilet and shower outside of room but close enough so not to much of inconvinience.

    Fantastic location, small and friendly.

    One room not ready at 2pm as promised. No shampoo or showgel provided. Very poor reception on tv. No decaff coffee at breakfast and slow to re-stock some food

    "Rooms were very small and felt stuffy. It was almost verging on being claustophobic. There were also very few windows in the property which also made it feel dark and dingy.     Large clean rooms. Clean and comfy beds. Loved the tea & coffee making facilities which included biscuits. Evertyhing we needed for the budget price we paid. Better than we expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was lovely and well cooked. We would definately go again and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a very central but fairly quiet hotel at a brilliant price for the centre of London Covent Garden Area but also within walking distance of theatres, restaurant, bars, and all the main attractions. We did not have to use the public transport to get anywhere including the shops on Regent Street

    The rooms at the rear of the hotel where quieter but a bit dark because looked on to a very close wall.

    The staff were very friendly and o'bliging. They were also very helpfull to find bus- and railwaynumbers in London. If we ever shuold visit London again, we would stay in The Seven Dails Hotel.

    "A good hotel for an able bodied person. Stairs have narrow treads which taper to nothing on corners as is the case with some old buildings. For a better hotel pay better money.
