    The staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the hotel lounge. The hotel is central.

    Inter net access , but you had to go to another floor to get the access and stay in that room. ????

    No internet access in the room - very badly decorated room - unclean - bed to soft - room cold - tv not working correctly - just needed Basil Fawlty to show up !! (I have stayed at 6 Hotels in Glasgow around the same price, this one was not in my top ten).

    Good service, large clean room, large clean bathroom, friendly reception staff

    Dated interior, annoying lift, multiple stains on carpet, heating wouldn't work and room was cold when we got there, no free parking although advertised as such!!

    Bathroom window would not closed,it also stank of sewage.It didnt look nice too.

    We asked for directions at reception and they couldnt provide us with them. A map of the local area would have been a good idea,as we booked hotel as it was described on the web as close to the Carling academy.

    noisy town centre street - no double glazing curtains / towels tatty although clean paintwork/ walls looked undecorated for a long time there was a fire in the next door building and our room smelled of smoke, however no offer of relocation to another room was made

    "We needed somewhere to stay that was close to Central Station as we had an early start in the morning and this fitted the bill. We left the Hotel at 6.20 am so didn't have any breakfast therefore can not comment on the food or service in the Restaurant." (97765932)

    Staff very friendly. The room was spotless. TV and kettle all in working order.

    The room was a bit tired looking and in need of up-grading.

    "I have already written to the Scottish Tourist Board about this hotel. The room was very shabby, toilet & sink dirty, Only one channel on TV to watch which was blurred(booking documents stated Satelite TV)No hair dryer.     Huge family room with nice couchs and table.

    Large bed

    Furniture marked, carpet cigarette burns, tv no remote (requested replacement and after 40 mins and a chase call - the one they brought didn't work either). Lots of maintenance faults - really just shocking.

    Central position

    room shody ceiling in bathroom had finger plaster over a crack!The wash basin was so small you could only get your hands in it

    "Having to carry bags and baggage to and from the car park was an horrendous task especially since we are both aged and suffer with medical conditions of the heart. Not all local car parks are 24 hour service. Some information would have been useful especially considering we were strangers to Glasgow and did not know the one way system. We were in a front room and we were prevented from having an open window as we normally have, by the excess noise coming from the traffic and late night revellers." (99940297)

    Reception staff were extremely helpful on arrival and throughout the stay. Male staff on reception was exceptionally helpful.

    The room had dirty clothes from previous occupants behind the bed. bathroom door did not close because of damage to panelling. No light over the mirror in bathroom, no shaver socket and no hair drying facilities. No car parking facilities at the hotel or within close proximity. There was no directions to the nearest car park.

    I would highly reccomend this hotel,i honestly could not fault it.When we booked in they gave us an executive suite as it was a crowd of girls and thought we would appreciate the bigger space,breakfast excellent,room service excellent and staff a lovely bunch of people overall superb and watch out as we will definitely be back ;)...

    The location

    The room was not clean (the bed was) The shower head was black with dirt. There was no plug for the washhand basin. When going to my room for the first time there was a mound of dirty linen outside my room. The list is endless.

    "we booked this hotel for a concert at the seec. it is ideal for this as it is beside central station which has an underground service which goes straight to the seec. it is also very well situated for shopping. on our next trip to glasgow we would definatly book this hotel again." (99169510)

    very good value for money. the rooms were large,clean and had every thing needed for the stay

    the toiletries could have been better. the only thing on offer was soap. could have done with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.also some more pillows. although i am sure the staff would have provided these if asked.

    Comfortable clean bed

    Decor rather shabby,and furniture.Non smoking Room but ciggarette burns on bedside cabinet and ash on the carpet.Carpet hadn't been hoovered for a while. no hairdryer.

    very helpful staff. location easy access to all of glasgow on foot.

    only one pillow each.Towels were small.Noise from road outside window was unaceptable-not able to reduce and still have air. curtain grubby.Bathroom floor tiles loose.only one bedside table and only one of the overhead lights worked.

    "The room was a bit tired - broken curtain pole, no door on a wardrobe, however the bed was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. Although the individual room was a bit worse for wear, I was only staying for 3 nights, the breakfast was excellent, the staff very friendly and it was all clean.
