    "We had just come from the Quality Inn in Youghal so it is hard to compare because that Hotel was outstanding and had a better price." (108060403)

    Good beds and large towels

    The initial family room that I booked was way to small so we upgraded to an apartment for a good price. However I couldn't or wouldn't have stayed in the first room. The hallways of the apt building was musty and smelled.

    "the good points where the hotel room was very nice and the food in the hotel was great the one bad point that ruined our stay was there was very little control of children in the hotel grounds eg. from 10pm untill 2am there where children running and shouting in the corridors when my husband and the people next door to us both asked them to be quiet they used abusive words and started kicking the doors and running away when we rang reception to complain they said they would call security but it still continued to the fact our son was woken several times and we left first thing in the morning to get some proper sleep. we complained at reception and where told they knew of the problem and the staff where aware how bad it was and said they where sorry but didnt offer a discount or anything else we felt this was bad form.we had stayed on many times and it used to be good as it has a great creche inhouse but it doesnt make up for what happend this stay."     "we were pleasantly surprised. we found the size of the hotel somewhat overwhelming, but the staff were very good.very much a family hotel, but it also suited us as we were on business and out for most of the day." (97672772)

    modern decor, bright and clean and spacious. What we wanted especially as our room seemed to be in a quiet part of the hotel

    i was very impressed with friendly helpful very hardworking staff especially girls servicing rooms and barstaff.

    Friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Room clean and spacious. Close to town centre Leisure centre and staff excellent

    Reported window latch broken. No follow up by services/maintenance. Bar food overcooked. Despite good selection the breakfast food was luke warm

    "Excellent location for touring the South West (Ring of Beara, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula). Comfortable hotel within walking distance of local amenities. A fridge in the hotel room was brilliant. Others should do this too! I stayed in 3 different Quality Inns over 9 days and all were very easy to locate from written instructions and well signposted."     "The hotel was very overcrowded especially at night. The notice on the bar stated that children had to be out of the bar by 9 pm each night but this did not happen. There was no control over children running around at night in and out of tables etc. This seemed quite dangerous" (3305224249)

    Clean, well presented room. Service and staff overall very good. Bar and resturant staff delivered very good customer service. Parking very good. Although a large hotel it was very quiet once in the room. Easy to find and Killarney town centre just a few minutes away.

    "Excellent accommodation with very good leisure facilities. Very good value for money. Exceptionally clean throughout the hotel. Brilliant facilities for all age groups.     The facilities were really good with the accommodation comprising of a bedroom with ensuite and a living area with small kitchenette. The leisure facilities catered for all ages and the staff were very friendly and efficient.

    The childrens play area needs a bit of maintenance as some items were broken. The breakfast was not included in the price. I didnt know from my confirmation details if it was or not.

    "We didnt know about all the facilities that were avaible to entertain the children, the go-carts were excellent value and great fun. The games room was a bonus. The Lobby Bar was excellent. Also the breakfast was great value. We were really impressed by all this and found we were totally relaxed leaving the hotel. During our stay there was a small fire in the kitchen, the evacution was well organised and the staff kept us informed about what was happening. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable."     We found it very comfortable, plenty of room for all of us and we didn't feel like we were crowding one another. The use of a kitchen was marvelous.

    The location was great, easy to get into town centre

    Our room was quite far from the reception area, as one of our party has mobility problems, however I would add that I did request a ground floor room but I did not anticipate the size of the hotel

    "The hotel was clean, the staff were hard working and friendly. Apart from the one member of the reception staff who in our eyes was rude and un-helpful. The amenities were good and the childrens facilities were very good. I would like to have known about the surrounding area and what was available to us in the way of entertainment and outdoor activities. A welcome pack may have provided the answer." (3304517752)

    The children running around at 3am unsupervised, banging on doors waking babies and children while their parents were in the bar. having to get dressed and go to reception to put a stop to it. when complaining to reception staff the next morning being told that there was nothing they could do (unacceptable). the conclution, parents have to control their own kids not the hotel. (Poor attitude). It is the responsibility of the hotel to see that ALL guests have an enjoyable stay. Those guests that spoil it with little regard for others should asked to leave if they do not conform.

    Very spacious pool area ,childrens pool areas very well segregated, excellent children/family facilities,great value for money. No problem recommending the hotel especially for families.

    "The hotel is in a perfect spot just outside the town so it was nice and quiet.It was great value for money.We've stayed there twice and will definately be staying there again when we return to Kilarney.It was perfect for a relaxing weekend away,especially with the swimming pool,jacuzzi etc." (3304361895)

    "We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. This is our second time staying here. It suited our needs for a weekend break. The crazy golf went down a bomb with the kids as did the childrens entertainment. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed all day Sunday due to some incident but we made up for it on Monday morning. We enjoyed a very nice dinner in the restaurant on the Sun night while the kids went to the play room. Wonderful." (2583597)

    Nice big room suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Ensuite bathroom was very clean

    Friendly staff. Convenient access to Killarney & surrounding area.

    Breakfast service seemed slightly haphazard. Greater choice of continental breakfast items would have created greater variety.

    Clean , friendly and comfortable despite the fact that a major refurbishment was being carried out both to the inside and the outside of the hotel.Excellent breakfasts.

    New bathroom doors are far too heavy and need adjusting.When the refurbishments are complete this will be an excellent hotel

    "The hotel was alittle worn but still nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was great! The room was well equipped with refrigerator, tea/coffee and hairdryer. The only thing missing was a clock. We thoroughly enjoyed the leisure center although we were not informed we needed swim caps and had to buy them at the pool. It appeared that the hotel had a wonderful children's program, but we did not get any information on it at all. It would have been nice if the price quoted included breakfast." (1371458)

    "On arriving at 4pm on 21/4/06 the machine for issuing the room keys was broken, we were not issued with a room key until 8.30pm on 22/4/06. If we wished to go our room a porter had to be called to open our door. We could have asked to go to any room in the hotel as no one asked for any idientification. The TV in our room was broken and there was the liquid hand soap was empty for the duration of our stay. At breakfast time they ran out of plates. The public toilet areas were untidy at varius times over the weekend and without toilet rolls in the cubicles." (3304448405)

    "If you are completing a day of touring and just want to fall into a bed and not worry about eating or showering in a clean bath, this is the place for you. Although the front desk and bar personnel were nice and friendly, the waitress we had did not know her job and we walked out without ordering. The buildings and grounds are a mess and our room had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time. There were cobwebs and dead bugs on the window sill as well as dust and debris evident in the carpet. The bathroom seemed clean but did not pass a close inspection. All-in-all, a the worst night I had in Ireland." (1483470)
