    "This was the worst hotel I have ever booked. I ended up staying with friends in the temple bar hotel instead of spending my night at the Fleet Street such was the smell of the room and atrocious decor. This is a hotel I will not return to." (97262486)

    decor, difficulty in getting to room, I had to pay for accommodation when checking out (I thought this was already done online), I had to pay £40 instead of £38 due to the delay in paying due to the change in interest rate apparently (according to staff member), no hot water at 9am, the place smelled, one of the windows at the front of the hotel was broken etc etc

    Excellant Location, clean rooms and good value for money.

    "The Fleet Street hotel was great. Considering it is directly in the Temple Bar area it was still quiet !! Very easy to find, handy for the shops,right by the River Liffey and bus routes. Perfect for any visitor to Dublin. Recommend!!!" (97304152)

    easy to locate, friendly helpful staff, able to book in early, could leave luggage for collection after booking out in a secure room, clean and tidy

    "If you're looking for clean, friendlyaccommodation close to the City Centre and Temple Bar, then you can't go wrong with this place. On the downside, breakfast was not included and there wasn't a hotel bar, but everything is so close it's really not an issue." (99172410)

    Location was superb - close to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    The ensuite bathrooms were very clean and modern. The Hotel Staff on Reception were first class!

    The decor in our rooms was showing its age; the wallpaper in places was torn and tired-looking. The Breakfast Room and sitting areas in the Public Lounge were unappealing and we thought there would be a restaurant where we could eat in the evenings. The Breakfast Menu Notice was not displayed prominently enough in the Main Reception Area and was of a poor quality. It neither showed the cost of breakfast or offered an alternative to the Irish Cooked Breakfast. As a result, we never had breakfast in the Hotel.

    The bathroom was very big and clean.

    I didn't like the fitted carpet, they're always dusty and a bit smelly.

    Size & layout of rooms were very comfortable and the hotel is ideally located in the city centre. Great breakfast.

    The area can sometimes get noisy on the weekend, however this can be mitigated by requesting a room towards the back of the hotel.

    excellent location. great value for money. breakfast is not included in the price, but can be purchased if you want it. most hotels include breakfast in their charged which means you have to rise very early to avail of it and in most cases end up missing it. having the option of buying it is wonderful

    It was right in the middle of Temple Bar area and very central for everything,the rooms were comfortable and staff were very helpfull.

    There was nothing I did'nt like about the Hotel,thanks for a great couple of days .

    "I was very impressed with the accomodation. The location of the hotel was perfect. The room was clean and tidy with clean towels, etc daily. It is the perfect hotel for a short stay in Dublin due to its location and value for money.     "Booking in was fine - very welcoming. 1st room we had was wet and smelt of damp. We were moved the next day into a fine room. Unfortunately, breakfast is not included in the price and you have to pay more on the day. Despite this, breakfast was lovely and lots of excellent food - good choice." (99185053)

    "Generally a very good value for money hotel but breakfast was expensive. Decor and carpeting need some upgrading. Pillows were a little grubby but pillowcases were clean." (99709967)

    Very good location for sightseeing, comfortable and friendly.

    Breakfast room was very cold, despite two open fires. The bedroom was very hot and there was no control device for the cold air fan, although reception did provide a table top fan.

    "The hotel staff at any level are extremely helpful. The hotel is in a great location for the nightlife and for the daytime shopping. You can come and go as you please and the security is first class. Easy access to local transport - great walks and very friendly people in the town. This is my third year at staying in this hotel and I would not stay elsewhere on visiting Dublin. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dublin - you will not be disappointed." (2561977)

    "Originally we were put into room 105 which was absolutley rotten. The smell there was apparently coming from the drains. As this is an on going problem visitors to the hotel should not even be put into this room.However, we did complain and we were moved to another room. This hotel badly need updating, it's looking very old and run down." (2079129)

    The hotel was right within the temple bar district but there wasnt too much noise about but you do walk out right into the busy street.

    New carpets in selected areas. The breakfast staff dowwnstairs needs additional staff. Consider giving all breakfast vouchers at the beginnng of stay.

    Friendliness and efficiency of reception staff, room amenities, hotel location.

    Some of the staff in the dining room for breakfast seemed unprofessional, inexperienced. Vacuuming in hallways should not be done during the morning with so many guests coming and going.

    "The Hotel is described as a 3 star hotel. Comparing to Danish standard this would be a 1 star Hotel. Booking a hotel on the internet was easy, but realizing that you must be using a total different standard in setting stars on the Hotel comparing to what I'am used to (and f.i. is used in Denmark)makes the booking difficult. However, the people were nice and the hotel was central placed, so my trip was overall good." (2305631)

    Central placed, nice and friendly people in the lobby.

    I would suggest, that you changed some of the furniture in the lobby and placed a nice television there. The furnitures in the lobby are weared up. The recomondation of the television is because there is no chair in the room to watch television and the size of the room makes it imposible to stay in the bead watching television.

    "Unless you really want to stay in the temple bar area find other accomodation in Dublin and get a taxi. Temple Bar is over rated and too expensive. If you do stay at this hotel make sure you get a room facing the main street not one of the back rooms to the rear of the hotel. The noise from ventilation ducts was constant.     Size of room including en suite good. Breakfast area (Bewleys cafe) very good and very helpful and friendly breakfast staff.

    Bed was not comfortable. A lot of noise at 2 and 3am from pub next door making it hard to sleep.
