    Good service, room and sheets are clean and comfortable, nice breakfast. Nice lounges and restaurant. Very suitable for business and short trip.

    la camera veramente pulita,anche spaziosa rispetto lo standard di altri alberghi di pari livello ed inoltre la vista era sul prospetto principale ma assolutamente insonorizzata. efficace l'aria condizionata.il personale addetto alla reception disponibile ma distaccato.

    la prima colazione,sebbene con prodotti sempre freschi avrebbe potuto essere arricchita con frutta e altro genere di dolciumi.ilpersonale addetto alla colazione poco disponibile e probabilmente afflitto da problemi personali.

    Accommodation was clean and had all the necessary facilities needed.

    The room size was rather small - however, it was a single occupancy room. A liitle more floor space would've been nice though.

    clean, good breakfast for continental, location to tube and our event location, near to shops/restaurants,

    bar man was on holiday so no bar but porter could get you a drink until 10.30 pm. check in slow, only one on reception, seemed to be short staffed. staff civil but not particularly friendly. noisy at night and noisy air con. rain came in window if left open so had to close and listen to air con. bathroom adequate but small.

    "The staff were very nice and helpful - not one, but EVERYONE we spoke with. They were able to recommend modes of travel, sites to visit, and food to try. We felt as if they were overjoyed to be serving us. Once we were standing in line to ask a simple question and one of the employees RAN to get behind the counter to help us. The room itself was plenty large. The sheets were clean white. We had a tea/coffee maker, hair dryer, refrigerator, safe, TV, hot water, air conditioning and heat. We also enjoyed being able to open our window to hear the sounds of the city. The continental breakfast was simple but plenty (and free)! They were willing to store our luggage with the cost being 1 GBP per piece. We were able to walk to the tube station (passing a grocery store and 2 nice restaurants) in about 3 minutes without even crossing the street." (97951960)

    We enjoyed the location, cleanliness, quietness, and staff.

    We would have liked to have been able to leave our luggage in storage for the few hours after check-out for free. The cost was also pretty high, but prices are just high in general in the UK.

    THe Hotl is central, and near to all the London attractions.The main entrance lobby was welcoming and staff pleasant.

    The BED, which is the most important comfort requirement was the most uncomfortable we have slept in during our frequent travels both in the U K and the U S. You must rectify this problem. The TV was poor, and would perhaps bother some people. For these reasons I would not stay again unless you assured me the beds were of a better quality.

    This was good location hotel, good hotel, good value for money.

    It will be good to know that room is on -1 level and very small.But we were enjoying in London and room was ok. Weather was very hot and think that for summer in -1 rooms air condition is not adequate.

    the overall ambience of the hotel was good, the staff was friendly and kind it was close to the events i need to attend

    no heating in the bedroom on first night, however that was rectified with an electric one, breakfast could be more appetising and more choice would have been good, cant believe you had no fresh fruits!!! that would be very useful as lots of people prefer fresh fruits instead of tin stuff!!yuk!!!

    Family room was a good size with 2 double beds rather than a put-up bed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    Breakfast was a bit chaotic as it was a buffet and the hot food kept running out. Therefore breakfast took a little longer than we hoped.

    The general ambience was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful.

    My bedroom was in the basement, therefore even during daylight hours the amount of daylight coming into the room was negligible.

    "Excellent service at check-in - arrived early and was given a room immediately. Receptionists particularly friendly and helpful throughout stay, giving directions and advice.     Not a problem at all but bathroom was a bit small and also tea/coffee provided but no biscuits! (seems normal in London hotels though)

    The Cleanliness of my room

    My room was very hot even without the radiator being on The breakfast buffet was very basic, I would off liked to have seen some fresh fruit not tinned. Breakfast was not served until 8am on Sundays, that meant I had to rush my breakfast as my meeting started at 9am.

    The staff are very helpful. The beds very comfortable.

    The bathroom facilities in the room were in need of urgent updating, our basin was cracked, the plug got stuck, taps were covered in limescale and in general the maintenance of the bathroom was shoddy.

    It was clean and 'cosy'. Nice location with approriate distance to interesting places/roads.

    It was difficulty finding the room. Located in the 'basement' I got lost several times trying to find my way out/in or to my room.

    "An excellent hotel, fairly priced and very friedly and efficient staff. The rooms were well decorated and contained excellent facilities. A very good location in a safe locality and close to Gloucester Road underground station with 3 lines and hence much of London is in very easy reach. A minor complaint is that the wide ranging breakfast could be improved with the addition of a greater choice of eggs(only boiled available)and more edible bacon." (97193288)

    Modern facilities, excellent location, friendly staff

    Breakfast was alittle disappointing with lack of fried/poached and scrambled eggs and rather inedible bacon.

    It has an excelent localisation, near to internet cafes, subway, cheap restaurants and around 3 supermarkets.

    The staff at the breakfast was a little bit neurotic with order and cleaness so that they bothered people for serving the coffee, milk, and just a simple cup of tea. It was uncomfortable. However I must observe that the quality of the breakfast was excellent, more than fair and enough.

    Overall, service/breakfast, etc. ok. I would probably recommend as long as you don't get a room in the basement.

    Room was in the basement next door to a generator which hummed, clicked and buzzed the whole way through the night. I requested to move but was told there were no upgrades. The reception person said he would send someone to look and never did. When I mentioned on departure - he said he'd never had a complaint about this room before, which was surprising in my view. The noise affected my sleep severely which impacted on my business meetings.

    "We stayed 3 nights weather was very warm and humid out. The air conditioning in our room worked well the first night but was out and not working at all the next two nights. The front desk said there were no other rooms available and that the repairs would be made the next day we slept with the huge window open but with no releif ( we chose the accomodation because it had air conditioning I have asthma and need to have it available.) We were told they could send up a fan which never arrived. The next night the air was not fixed still not able to switch rooms and received a tiny desk size fan . After asking to speak to the manager we were told he would be in the next morning at 8:00 AM and we could talk to him then. we had to leave the hotel at 8:10 because our taxi was there to take us to the airport. The hotel manager was still not in and hasn't returned my e-mail as of yet. In the USA most hotels would make some kind of an adjustment for the inconvenience I guess things are different in London. Until I hear from the manager I would not be able to honestly recomend this hotel to anyone. By the way I had booked three rooms for the weekend." (99114779)

    Location was close to underground. Fairly safe location.

    The hotel is in a good location, two mins away from underground and within walking distance of National History museum etc. Reception and dining area are clean and well decorated.

    We stayed in a quad room which was adequate but nothing special. The room was clean but in need of updating, bathroom was a bit grubby. The breakfast service on a morning is a bit of non starter, you have to toast your own bread and the area where the food is served is too cramped and people are falling over each other.

    "when i arrived ther was no where to park and unload my car after asking you receptionist where i was to park my car i was informed with a SMIRK we dont have car parking you will have to park in hotel next door which cost me an extra THITRY FIVE POUNDS if i had known i would have come down by train...Your web site gave no mention of this problem regarding parking.... We could not put plug in sink as it was blocked with a toothpaste cap...The base of my bed was stained and filthy...I booked a smoking room but was told none were avaiable strangley there was one next morning when i asked before breakfast......."     "Travellers on a budget asking for a single room rarely get anything above adequate in any hotel; I'm beginning to think that hostels are a better option. Impossible to know what you are getting in a hotel via either the internet or even travel guides. Reviews by others who have stayed in a hotel perhaps the best guide." (99533016)

    Convenience to public transport, banks, restaurants. Room mostly quiet (a considerable plus in London). Front of house staff pleasant and helpful.

    - Bed lumpy and uncomfortable. - AC not working properly. - Internet access downstairs a commercial operation (Spectra) and a rip-off; I needed to work and couldn't get past all the commercial web-sites that popped up. - Disappointing breakfast; tinned fruit?? Also poor quality bread. Staff kept hovering and clearing away plates; very annoying. - Phone didn't work; had to use my non-UK mobile for local calls at considerable expense.

    Quick check in, window opened, safe in room

    We requested to have alight over the bed fixed in our room (401) and it never happened. I had left a message for my husband in an envelope which I was assured would be delivered to him and it never was.
